Nafisah A. Salaam, RN, B.S.N.
Mrs. Salaam graduated from Central Virginia Community College with a degree in education. Thereafter, she pursued a Bachelor’s of Science
in Nursing from University of Lynchburg in Lynchburg, Virginia. Mrs. Salaam is a humanitarian and has travelled abroad managing and
providing medical services to underserved populations. Mrs. Salaam worked in the nursing field for several years, then transitioned back
to education. Working as a Professor of Nursing at Central College, she was instrumental in designing and implementing alternative methods of
instruction including an online curriculum during the pandemic, one of the toughest times in our nation.
Mrs. Salaam's ambitions and aspiration of becoming an entrepreneur inspired her to open, operate, and manage a business that catered to her local community, for over a decade. Mrs. Salaam has continued her passion for lifelong learning in speaking and understanding Arabic as
a second language.
